Taking a fresh perspective on the everyday things we constantly encounter – this approach can give rise to something new. I apply this perspective to my "Sweaties" when creating them, observing kitchen utensils and other objects that catch my eye in a given moment. I capture them with my smartphone, give them a title, and the result is a "Sweatie."

The spontaneous mosaic of a Vis-made is a snapshot in which photographs from Jost Sagasser MA's everyday life merge with corresponding postcards, thus offering the viewer a wide range of interpretations. Times reflected in the individual images combine to form a snapshot that depicts eternity. The Vis-made takes the viewer by the hand and leads them on a journey to new horizons.

The foundation of Jost Sagasser MA's art, under the name Forno, is his intuitive approach to life. Based on his intuition, honed through years of yoga and meditation practice, he creates each Forno in seconds or a few minutes. He adheres to a strict principle of order, instilled in him by his parents in childhood. Order as the basis of his art implies clarity – and this leads to excellent results. For him, good order creates space in the Hara, the lower abdomen. From this, supported by Zen, arises his intuitive foundation for the Fornos.

Jost Sagasser MA creates his art in a completely unique, intuitive way, adhering to no constraints imposed by other art movements, although these do inspire his work. Edding felt-tip pens with colors from across the entire color spectrum serve as his preferred tool. Furthermore, works from the Renaissance, Baroque, Impressionism, Expressionism, Surrealism, Constructivism, and especially Dadaism provide a foundation for Fornos under the L-art umbrella.

Jost Sagasser, MA, wants to share his art with a broad audience. During his bicycle tours through his adopted hometown of Aschaffenburg in the autumn/winter of 2024/25, he looked into the windows of the houses he passed. He noticed a great need for art in people's living spaces. He observed a lot of wall decoration in the form of posters or prints on the walls of the apartments he glimpsed. From this, he deduced a need for his own art.

During his studies in Modern History and Art History, which he completed in Berlin in 1993 with a Master of Arts degree, Jost Sagasser MA was inspired by modern art, with protagonists such as Pablo Picasso, the founder of Cubism, and Otto Dix and Jackson Pollock, representatives of Expressionism. Trips to Spain introduced him to the surrealist works of Salvador Dalí. From this inspiration, he drew the foundation for his artworks, each titled Fornos, which he has been marketing under the L-art umbrella since 2025.
