The move

Art and New Beginnings - this is the motto for the coming days and weeks for me. In May, I announced the termination of my previous apartment in Aschaffenburg and decided to look for a new place to stay until August 2026. Emigration from Germany is also under consideration. This is partly due to my dissatisfaction with the local economic conditions. In recent weeks, the previous website administrator Andreas Moser has kindly added an English and a French version to my site.

A trip to alsace

Inspired by a stay in the French Alsace in May of this year, I also asked him to provide a French version of the shop and content of my page. By a happy coincidence, I found myself on this trip in the historic town of Riquewihr near Colmar. What is fascinating about this relatively small French community are, among other things, its half-timbered houses from the 13th century. These are nestled among vineyards and enclosed by a city wall from that era in a hilly landscape. Tourists from all over the world stroll through the commercially influenced main street of the town. There are also some art galleries located there. In general, I noticed a great interest and understanding of art in the region where I traveled for about 10 days.

The Wine as a Foundation for Prosperity in Alsace

Other towns and villages I visited in Alsace include Munster, Colmar, and Neuf-Brisach. On my journey through the region, I once again saw, exemplified by Riquewihr, that the early cultivation of wine brought great wealth and prosperity to the surrounding communities as early as the Middle Ages. This is visibly reflected in the design of the house facades from that time. If the inclined visitor moves a little off the beaten tourist paths, they will be amazed and gain deep insights into the diversity of life of the people there. After many impressions and insights, I returned to Aschaffenburg to focus on my apartment search and a fresh start. In the coming weeks, I plan to implement more new Sweaties in my online shop. I am quite surprised that despite all my efforts and extensive work on my art project with L-art, I have achieved little reputation with my artworks, which could be considered groundbreaking. Last week, I already acquired a beautiful kitchen for my new place from a local furniture store, which is yet to be found. I am extremely curious about where my paths will lead me. In conclusion, I would like to state that I see my future outside the borders of my homeland, the Federal Republic of Germany. I am working on it. :D
